Pressella Zoom Integration Guide

This guide covers everything you need to know about installing, using, and managing the Pressella Zoom integration for automatic meeting recording and AI content generation.
Installation Instructions
Step 1: Create Your Pressella Account
- Visit pressella.ai
- Click "Sign Up" and complete registration
- Verify your email address
- Complete your profile setup
Step 2: Connect Google Calendar (Recommended)
- From your Pressella dashboard, go to "Manage Account" in the top right corner
- Click "Connect Google Calendar"
- Sign in with your Google account
- Grant calendar read permissions
- Confirm connection shows "Active" status
Step 3: Install the Zoom Integration
- In the Integrations section, click "Connect Zoom"
- You'll be redirected to the Zoom App Marketplace
- Click "Install" on the Pressella app page
- Sign in to your Zoom account if prompted
- Review the requested permissions:
- Read user information - Access your profile and Personal Meeting ID
- Read meeting information - View your scheduled meetings
- Generate recording tokens - Enable automatic recording
- List scheduled meetings - Match calendar events with meetings
- Click "Authorize" to grant permissions
- You'll be redirected back to Pressella with a success confirmation
Step 4: Verify Your Setup
- Check that Zoom integration shows "Connected" in your settings
- If you connected Google Calendar, verify it also shows "Active"
- Your integration is now ready to use
How to Use the Integration
Automatic Meeting Detection
- Pressella automatically monitors your Google Calendar for Zoom meeting links
- No manual setup required for individual meetings
- The AI agent joins meetings 1-2 minutes after the scheduled start time
During Meetings
- The Pressella AI agent appears as "Pressella Meeting Agent"
- Recording begins automatically without host approval needed
- A recording notification appears per Zoom's requirements
- Continue your meeting normally - the agent operates silently
- The agent will automatically leave when the meeting ends
After Meetings
- Transcripts are processed and available within 5-10 minutes
- Generated content and insights appear in your Pressella dashboard
- Access recordings, transcripts, and AI-generated articles
- Download or share content as needed
Managing Recordings
- Go to "My Meetings" in your Pressella dashboard
- View all recorded meetings with processing status
- Click on any meeting to view:
- Full transcript
- Generated articles and insights
- Meeting summary and key points
- Download options
Managing Your Integration
Viewing Connection Status
- Navigate to "Settings" → "Integrations"
- See real-time connection status for all accounts
- View last sync times and activity logs
Updating Permissions
- To modify Zoom permissions, disconnect and reconnect your account
- All existing recordings and data remain preserved
- New permissions take effect immediately
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Integration Shows as Disconnected
- Go to "Manage Account" in the top right corner
- Click "Reconnect" next to Zoom
- Re-authorize the application
- Contact support if problem persists
Agent Doesn't Join Meetings
- Verify Zoom integration shows "Connected" status
- Ensure meeting has Zoom link in Google Calendar
- Check that meeting is scheduled (not instant)
- Verify meeting starts after integration setup
Missing Transcripts
- Transcripts typically appear 5-10 minutes after meeting ends
- Meetings must be at least 2 minutes long with audio content
- Check your internet connection during the meeting
- Contact support if transcripts don't appear within 30 minutes
Removing the Integration
Method 1: From Zoom App Marketplace
- Log in to your Zoom account
- Navigate to Zoom App Marketplace
- Click "Manage" → "Installed Apps"
- Find "Pressella" in your installed apps list
- Click on the Pressella app
- Click "Uninstall"
- Confirm the removal
What Happens After Removal
- Automatic meeting recording stops immediately
- Existing recordings and transcripts remain in your Pressella account
- You can still access previously generated content
- Google Calendar integration continues working (disconnect separately if desired)
- You can reinstall the integration at any time
Data and Privacy
How We Handle Your Data
- Meeting audio is processed securely through our certified partner Recall.ai
- All data transmission uses end-to-end encryption
- Video, screen shares, and personal information are never stored
- Only audio is processed to generate transcripts and content
Data Retention
- Raw meeting data is processed and deleted within 7 days
- Generated transcripts and articles are stored in your account
- You control all data - delete transcripts and content anytime
- Export your data before removing the integration if desired
Your Privacy Rights
- Access all your data through the dashboard
- Delete individual recordings or all data at once
- Request data export in standard formats
- View detailed privacy controls in account settings
